OPIV Mark and corporate image
In 2016 the Cesare Pavese Foundation presented OPIV, Observatory on Industrial and Intellectual Property in the wine sector and the wine and food technology sector. The Observatory aims to examine issues relating to industrial and intellectual property, in terms of protecting local excellences and the enhancement of products and services that are based on them, providing constant support to all businesses within the sector.
Eclettica-Akura created a mark with an architectural form for OPIV: the various elements are composed in cascade form on the central axis. Two monumental, traditional Bordeaux-type bottles – symbolising the wine and where it is produced – envelop the stylised image of the Foundation’s headquarters.
The whole image rests on three curved sections reminiscent of vine rows and hills, mechanised production and the protective umbrella, emblem of the Observatory’s activities.
